The Zinc Spark: the real fluorescent flash at the moment of fertilization

El Destello de la Vida is not a metaphor. A genuine zinc fluorescent flash occurs at fertilization and is documented for each patient at our clinic.

What the Zinc Spark is

At the moment of fertilization, a burst of zinc is released from the egg. Under fluorescent microscopy this appears as a flash of light. Researchers first documented this phenomenon in 2016. We call it El Destello de la Vida — the Spark of Life — and we treat it as the founding image of the clinic.

Why we document it

The Zinc Spark is real, visible, and measurable. Its intensity correlates with egg quality and early embryo development potential. For each patient we document the spark at fertilization. This is not decoration — it is data, and it is yours.

The founding image

A clinic that believes every embryo deserves a chance begins with a moment of recognition: here is where life starts. The Zinc Spark is that moment, captured. It is the anchor of our bioethical doctrine, not a marketing metaphor.
