First LightReproductive Medicine
First Light Reproductive Medicine — Boutique Fertility Clinic

What begins, remains · Bioethical IVF

Around the world, reproductive medicine has helped thousands of families achieve the dream of having a child. However, in the pursuit of optimizing processes and scaling results, many clinics have forgotten something fundamental: for millions of people, every embryo created represents a life. This reality leads many families to hesitate before starting treatment, or to experience their journey with the ethical pain of knowing their surplus embryos will be discarded or destroyed.

At First Light Reproductive Medicine, we were born out of the belief that science and ethics do not have to compete; they can go hand in hand. We are a Boutique Fertility Clinic where we redefine reproductive medicine under a non-negotiable principle: every embryo is born with the real intent of being transferred; no embryo is abandoned or destroyed.

We welcome only a limited number of families each year, providing a comprehensive experience where every family has a dedicated Family Concierge to accompany them at every step of their journey.

Legado Etico

Coordination program

For patients who want IVF at partner clinics under our founding conviction — what begins, remains. We coordinate timelines, travel, legal documentation and bilingual support across the full cycle.

El Destello de la Vida

The moment of life

At fertilization, a real zinc fluorescent flash — El Destello de la Vida — is emitted and documented for each patient. This is the founding image of the clinic, not a metaphor.

6-step protocol

The bioethical cycle

Egg quality assessment → Sovereign egg freezing (packs of 3) → Endometrial preparation → Transfer of all viable embryos → Informative genetic feedback → Integral accompaniment.

Legal

Independent counsel

Reproductive law in Colombia and the patient home country reviewed before any commitment. Privacy, consent and data sovereignty treated as first-class obligations.

Booking route

Booking starts with guided intake.

Fertility cases can be reserved, but not blindly. We first separate medical eligibility, legal implications, embryo plan, timing and the patient's home-country requirements.

Reservation intake

Cora collects the initial context: country, age range, IVF history, embryo goals, timeline and whether surrogacy is being considered.

Clinical questions

We prepare the questions that must go to the licensed fertility specialist before stimulation, fertilization or transfer planning.

Legal screen

Complex files require independent legal review before any financial commitment, especially cross-border parentage or surrogacy routes.

Written route

The family receives a clear orientation map: what is known, what is pending, who is responsible and what cannot be promised.

Reserve the orientation, not the medical procedure.

The public booking path starts with Cora and can move into a private slot, specialist review, legal counsel and a documented route when appropriate. The control tower remains internal for accepted files.
